Subscription terms

How paid plans in FitX work: what you buy, how Apple or Google bills you, how renewal works, and how to cancel or ask for a refund.

What you can buy

  • FitX Pro: unlocks the paid features for lifters. Monthly or yearly.
  • Coach plans: for coaches who manage clients in FitX, with a set number of client seats shown on the plan.

Every plan is an auto-renewing subscription. It works wherever you sign in to the same FitX account, on iPhone or Android. The app shows what each plan includes before you subscribe.

These terms add to our Terms of use. Plans are sold only by in-app purchase through the Apple App Store and Google Play.

Price

The price, in your currency, is shown in the app and by the store before you confirm. That is the price you pay; your store may add local taxes and shows the total.

How you are billed

Payment is charged to your Apple Account (on iPhone) or your Google Play account (on Android) when you confirm the purchase, or when your free trial ends. Apple or Google takes the payment under their own terms. We never see or store your card details.

Free trial

A new subscriber may get a free trial, currently 7 days; the length shown before you confirm is the one that applies. You get the plan's full features during the trial and pay nothing until it ends.

When the trial ends, it turns into the paid plan you chose and you are charged, unless you cancel at least 24 hours before it ends. If you buy a plan during a trial, any unused part of the trial ends.

Each person gets one free trial, under the store's rules.

Automatic renewal

Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each period (month or year), and you are charged for the next period within the 24 hours before it begins, unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends.

Cancelling and managing your subscription

Cancel in the store where you subscribed. Deleting the app or your FitX account does not cancel it.

iPhone (App Store)

Android (Google Play)

After you cancel, you keep your plan until the end of the period you paid for, and you are not charged again.

Refunds

Apple and Google take the payment, so they decide on refunds under their own policies. We cannot refund a store purchase ourselves.

Cancelling stops future charges but does not refund the current period, unless the store grants a refund or the law where you live gives you that right.

Price changes

We may change the price of a plan. If the price of your plan goes up, Apple or Google tells you before it applies, and where the store or the law requires it, asks you to agree. If you do not agree, your subscription ends at the end of the current period. You can cancel at any time before the new price applies.

Changing plans

You can switch between monthly and yearly, or between plans, in the same store subscription settings. The store shows when the change starts and any credit for the time left before you confirm.

Restoring purchases

Your plan belongs to your FitX account and to the store account you paid with. On a new phone, or after reinstalling, sign in to the same FitX account. If your plan does not show, use the restore purchases option in the app while signed in to the same Apple Account or Google account you subscribed with.

A subscription bought on iPhone is managed in the App Store, and one bought on Android in Google Play, even when you use FitX on the other kind of phone.

Deleting your account

Deleting your FitX account does not cancel your subscription, because Apple or Google bills it. Cancel it in the store first, as described under Cancelling, then delete your account (see the Privacy policy). We do not refund time left on a subscription when you delete your account.
